Heisler Park, laguna beach, engagement session, photography by Joe Broccardo

Ashley and Aryn met me fo rtheir engagement session at Heisler Park in Laguna BEach. They brought along their dog to join us. Laguna beach is really cool about having dogs on the beach!!! We walked the entire park for some great locations and finsished up on the beach by ourselves, Fishermans Cove. It has some of the coolest colors on the walls of the cliffs. Laguna Beach, California, Judson and Rachelle, Hotel Laguna, Broccardo Photography

Judson should be husband of the year with this one he pulled off. Knowing they missed a few key things at their wedding they had at there wedding in 2011, Judson decided to surprise Rachelle with a surprise renewal of their vows. He started by contacting Cori of Events by Cori and got the ball rolling. He decided to blindfold Rachelle and drive her around a little to disorient her. They arrived at Hotel Laguna and Cori took over. She had everything planned from flowers to photography to a dove release.

Following the short ceremony performed by Brent Edards I got toake them around Laguna Beach to some key points. Rachelle grew up in Laguna and they had their first date in Laguna Beach so we even went to the restaurant that Judson took her too for some photos.

Heisler Park, Laguna Beach, CA, Engagement Photography, Orange County

Toni and Walter met me at Heisler PArk in LAguna Beach for their engagement photos. It was a great day with perfect weather. We walked the newly remodeled park and then headed down to the beach for the sunset. We had a south Swell which was producing an extra high tide and some big waves breaking on the rocks. We were limited to how much we could do but they were brave enough to hit the rocks and get some great shots. We finished up by walking to Main Beach and getting some shots with the lifegueard tower. Laguna Beach wedding and engagement photography. Broccardo Photography

Carrie and Dan decided to meet me in downtown Laguna Beach for their engagement session. We started by shooting some cool street scenes around the area. We then continued the engagement session out to the canyon in one of the wilderness parks, we got some great shots. We then continued the shoot where we included their dog Snoopy, in Heisler park followed by some beach shots. We were planning on shooting some sunset shots but the fog rolled in pretty thick so we called it a wrap. We got some amazing shots. Make sure to check out the slideshow below. ENJOY

Christina and Dan are a fun and loving couple. We decided to meet at the beach in front of the Montage Resort in Laguna Beach. We had such a good time walking along the park and grabbing some great shots with the ocean in the background. Mardee and Robert held their wedding ceremony and reception at Hotel Laguna. This hotel is amazing. Sitting right in downtown Laguna Beach just steps away from main beach. We shot the wedding inside the courtyard. Followed by some fun photos on Pacific Coast highway and family and formal shots right on the boadr walk over looking the amazing beach in Laguna.

Villa Rockledge, Laguna Beach, California, Wedding Venue, Orange County Wedding Pros

I attended the OC Wedding Pros networking breakfast this week. It was held at Villa Rockledge in Laguna Beach. What an amazing property. The villa is on the bluff over looking the Pacific Ocean, it was a stormy day so the waves were crashing on the rocks, it was awesome. The grounds have some amazing doorways and even a turret going up to the 2nd floor. This place is perfect for destination weddings to California, you can even rent the Villa for the entire week of your wedding.

Below are some of the images of the grounds, sorry i didn’t take too many as it was pouring rain the whole time we there so i didn’t want to head outside for too long.
