El Adobe Restaurant, San Juan Capistrano, CA, 2-27-2010;
Jon And Tyra got married on a rainy day in February, yes I said it it rained in California!!! It wasnt too bad by the time we started. We had to switch to plan “B” but that was OK, plan “B” was photographing at one of my favorite places, Mission San Juan Capistrano. The Mission is perfect for those rainy day weddings. They have long hallways that are completely covered and it gave us plenty of room for posing and having fun. The ceremony and the reception was right down the street at El Adobe Restaurant. El Adobe was prepared to having tented the courtyard so the show could go on. Jon and Tyra are season ticket holders for the Angels. They had a themed cake and had people sign jerseys on their way into the reception. It was a great idea.
Having a plan “B” ready is what helps us stand apart from the “Weekend Photographer” I planned ahead and made a reservation at the Mission just in case. The mission has rules to getting a reservation, you must have insurance and have them added as an insurer. With out the insurance you cannot photograph inside the grounds. That is the difference between a professional and a prosumer. Enjoy the images and check out the slideshow link below. Have a great day!
