Orange County Family Photos | San Juan Capistrano | Caspers Park

Broccardo Photography visited Caspers Park for a recent family photo session. Caspers Park is located off of Ortega Highway in out side of San Juan Capistrano. A permit is required to photograph professionally in the park.

Here are a few images from a family photo session we shot this past weekend. This is a great time of year for family portraits. The weather is good and the fields are green and yellow, the trees have leaves and you wont be stuck in the rat race of family photos for your christmas photos for next year.

One of the first thing during a phone conversation or email my couples usually ask if I have shot at their venue before. I used to have a slideshow i could send them of the venue of a whole wedding. Now that we have the blog and the launch of our new website www.broccardophoto.com we have two ways for you to find a wedding venue in south orange county. You can scroll to the right of this blog and if i have shot a wedding at your venue or any venue you can click on it’s name and it will take you to all of my post’s from your venue. The Second way you can see more weddings images from your wedding venue would be by clicking the on to my main wedding website. Across the top you will see everything you need to know about Broccardo Photography and that includes galleries for all the venues we have worked at. “Venues 2″ is still under construction. We have been adding a couple of venues at a time so make sure to check back to see our progress and fresh work.

New Wedding Photography Website | Orange County Photographer | Launch

After much work and going through thousands of images that i shot in the past years I finally put together a new website and launched it yesterday. I still have a little tweaking to do but it is up and running. What is awesome is it has a mobile version for those of you who only look on you iPads and other mobile devices. Atzy and Chad decided to have their engagement photos at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano. I love shooting here it has a view around every corner. We met the morning after it rained all night and the mission was empty and the grounds were in perfect condition. One of my favoritew places to shoot is the Sacred Garden with the four bells as a background. I loved that we were able to shoot in there uninterupted. I think we saw 2 other people the whole time we were there.
The fee for doing an engagement session inside the mission is $75.00 for one hour. The photographer must prove proof of insurance to shoot on the property, which we have. Kayla and Brian were married at Strawberry Farms Golf Course in Irvine. The wedding was amazing held on the lawn outside the clubhouse followed by an amazing reception inside the Red Barn.

Catalina Island Casino, Avalon, Wedding, Ceremony, Reception, Photography by Broccardo Photography

Karisa and Bret were married at the Casino located on Catalina Island. The Ceremony took place in the ballroom on the top floor as well as the reception. After the ceremony we took a little walk around the north side of the casino over to Descanso Beach for a few photos and a Buffalo Milk.

The unique thing of having your wedding in AValon and on the Island of Catalina is that your whole wedding party and guest are on the island with you for the entire weekend so it is like one big party for 2-3 days. I just realized i never uploaded Kristine and Jareds wedding from the amazing San Clemente Casino. The Casino is located in the heart of San Clemente and is an amazing venue. With a great courtyard in the rear for wedding ceremonies and an amazing ballroom to hold your reception in The Casino is definitely one of San Clemente’s best wedding locations. With in a block of the beach you get the best of both worlds. You get the ocean sunsets and the use of an amazing historical building.

Rachelle + Judson | Renewal of the Vows | Hotel Laguna | Wedding Photography

Laguna Beach, California, Judson and Rachelle, Hotel Laguna, Broccardo Photography

Judson should be husband of the year with this one he pulled off. Knowing they missed a few key things at their wedding they had at there wedding in 2011, Judson decided to surprise Rachelle with a surprise renewal of their vows. He started by contacting Cori of Events by Cori and got the ball rolling. He decided to blindfold Rachelle and drive her around a little to disorient her. They arrived at Hotel Laguna and Cori took over. She had everything planned  from flowers to photography to a dove release.

Following the short ceremony performed by Brent Edards I got toake them around Laguna Beach to some key points. Rachelle grew up in Laguna and they had their first date in Laguna Beach so we even went to the restaurant that Judson took her too for some photos.
