Dana and Ron had a their wedding ceremony at the Basilica Chapel at Mission San Juan Capistrano. Following the ceremony we headed into the Mission Grounds for some family photography and some romantic portraits.

I have been in the wedding industry for 20+ years and I┬áhave to admit this was a first for me, a murder mystery wedding reception. It was a blast. All of the couples kids were involved in the drama of the mystery. Like their center pieces say “till Death do we part”. I’ve got to admit it was kind of a fun wedding reception and actually the first murder mystery I have ever been too.

What a great location to choose to have their reception, The Vintage in historical downtown San Juan Capistrano, the setting was perfect for murder mystery… as the crime was solved and they were taking the murderer away another murder occurred, so the reception was to be continued!!

Mission San Juan Capistrano is one of my favorite places to shoot any type of portraits from weddings, to engagement photos to family portraits. There is a perfect view around every corner of the Mission. One of my favorite spots in the mission is The Sacred Gardens. With the bells in the background it gives a perfect definition of Mission San Juan Capistrano.
Alyson and Chuck chose the Mission for it’s history and the great views it offers. Below you will see a handful of my favorite shots. Click the slideshow link to see all of their images. Enjoy and have a great day. PEACE

Mission San Juan Capistrano, Engagement photogrpahy by Joe Broccardo of www.broccardophoto.com

Atzy and Chad decided to have their engagement photos at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano. I love shooting here it has a view around every corner. We met the morning after it rained all night and the mission was empty and the grounds were in perfect condition. One of my favoritew places to shoot is the Sacred Garden with the four bells as a background. I loved that we were able to shoot in there uninterupted. I think we saw 2 other people the whole time we were there.
The fee for doing an engagement session inside the mission is $75.00 for one hour. The photographer must prove proof of insurance to shoot on the property, which we have. If you would like to set up an engagement photo session or a family portrait at the mission San Juan Capistrano make sure to give me a call and we will set it up: 949-481-0595 I look forward to hearing from you.
